Delivery and returns

Where it comes from, and how long it takes.

We ship direct from our factory. That’s why the price is what it is, and it’s why delivery takes a fortnight rather than two days.

Your chair is built to order and flown to your address. There’s no warehouse in the middle, which keeps several hundred dollars out of the price and means we don’t sell you last year’s stock. The trade-off is honest: you wait longer than you would for something sitting in a shed in Melbourne.

We’d rather tell you that now than have you wondering on day four.

How long it takes

From order to your door
StageTime
Production5–7 daysThese chairs are partly hand-built. Carbon fibre layup and assembly aren’t fully automated, and every chair is inspected before it ships.
Air freight to Australia8–12 working daysDelivered duty paid — no customs bill arrives afterwards.
Total, typicallyAbout 3 weeksAllow longer around Chinese New Year, when factories close for roughly a fortnight.

Delivery is free anywhere in Australia, including Tasmania and regional addresses. Duties and GST are included in the price you pay — nothing further is owed on arrival.

If you’re ordering against a deadline — a trip, a plan review, a firm date — tell us when you order and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s achievable.

What ships together, and what doesn’t

This is the part most retailers leave vague. Split shipments are normal in e-commerce; not mentioning them isn’t.

Arrives with your chair

  • The chair, folded in its carton
  • Battery, fitted, and its charger
  • Spare or upgrade batteries you ordered
  • A spare charger
  • Battery pouch for flying
  • UN38.3 certificate and safety data sheet
  • Manual and flying guide

Ships separately

  • Travel and storage bags
  • Seat cushions
  • Rain covers
  • Cup, phone and cane holders
  • Folding ramps
  • Anti-tip wheels

Accessories in the second list come from Australian suppliers rather than our factory, so they travel on their own and often arrive first. We’ll say so at checkout and again in your confirmation.

Thirty days to change your mind

Buying a chair you haven’t sat in is the hard part of this whole transaction. So: thirty days from delivery, return it for a full refund.

The chair needs to come back in saleable condition and in its original packaging — keep the carton until you’re sure. Try it thoroughly indoors and on paths you’d normally use; that’s what the window is for. What we can’t take back is a chair that’s been used hard outdoors and returned scuffed and dirty, because we can’t sell it to the next person.

Who pays the return freight
ReasonFreight
The chair is faultyWe payBoth ways. This is your right under the Australian Consumer Law, not a policy we chose.
It isn’t right for youWe payWithin the 30-day window, on chairs in saleable condition. Our own promise, above what the law requires.
Outside 30 days, not faultyNot returnableYour consumer guarantees still apply if something later turns out to be faulty.

Returns go to our facility on the mainland, not to Tasmania. We’ll send you the address and arrange the collection — please don’t post a chair back without talking to us first, or it may go to the wrong place at your expense.

Refunds are processed within five business days of the chair arriving and being checked.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our 30-day change-of-mind window is offered in addition to those rights, not instead of them. If a chair has a major failure at any point, you are entitled to a refund or replacement and you choose which.
